From Providence and Points South
- Take Route 146 North
- Take the exit for I-295, then follow signs for Route 99 North
- Follow Route 99 about 3 miles to the end; turn left onto Mendon Road
- After 0.5 miles, at a fork and set of lights, keep left on Cumberland Hill Rd.
- Go another 1 mile then, at the next set of lights, take a left onto Hamlet Avenue.
- Take the first left onto Davison Ave.
- Turn left into River’s Edge Recreational parking lot. There is ample parking at this lot.
G Manville Parking Area

From Route 146
- At the traffic lights, turn onto Sayles Hill Rd.
- Bear right at Old River Rd/RI-126
- Turn left onto Manville Ave
- Turn left at New River Rd
- Go 0.2 mile on New River Road until you see the small sign for the Bikeway on your right. Take a very sharp right onto the access road at the sign for the bikeway. You will see a small sign for some businesses at the top of the access road.
- Once you start down the hill, you will see the parking on the far side of the RR tracks and bikeway. Use caution! You must cross the bikeway in order to reach the parking lot.
- This lot is at MM14 on the bikeway
- There is limited parking at this location

From the intersection of Route I-295 (exit 10) and Route 122
- Go north on Route 122 for 0.5 mile
- Turn left at traffic light, onto Albion Road
- Go 0.75 mile past a very sharp bend in the road; you are now on School Street
- Go over the bridge (over the Blackstone River), then turn right into the parking lot.
D Route 295N Parking Area

The visitor center and bikeway are accessible only from the Northbound lanes of I-295

- On Route 295N (not accessible from southbound lanes)
- After exit 9 (Route 146), proceed about 1.2 miles to the rest area
- Ride a 0.5 mile spur to bikeway at MM11.
- There is ample parking, as well as restrooms and refreshments at this rest area/visitor center.
C Route 116 Parking

- Take Exit 10 Route 122 south
- Follow Route 122 South for 0.5 mile to Route 116, George Washington Hwy.
- Turn Right onto Route 116. Watch for Bikeway Parking sign on right.
- You will ride down a short spur to the bikeway at MM11.
- There is limited parking at this location.
E Ashton Village Parking

- Take Exit 10 Route 122 south
- Go about 0.5 mile then, go past Route 116 (George Washington Hwy), then take your first right on to Store Hill Road.
- Go 0.1 mile to the “end” then turn right onto Front Street. (at River Loft Apartments at Ashton Mill).
- Go 0.1 mile, into the parking lot •
- Please do not park in the River Lofts parking lot.
- This lot is between MM11 and MM11.5.
- There is very limited parking at this location.
B Front St. (Route 123) Parking Area

- Take exit for Route 123 Breakneck Hill Road
- Follow Route 123 East for 2.5 miles. (It becomes Great Road, then Front St.)
- Turn left at the flashing yellow light.
- Parking is south of MM8.5 on the bikeway
- There is ample parking at this location, and there are refreshments & restaurants nearby.
A John St. (Route 123) Parking Area

- Take exit for Route 123 Breakneck Hill Road
- Follow Route 123 East for 2.8 miles. (It becomes Great Road, then Front St., then John St.)
- Turn left into the old “Lonsdale Drive-In Theatre” sign
- Parking is north of MM7.5 on the bikeway
- There is limited parking at this location
Accessing the Bikeway
There are several parking lots specifically for the Blackstone River Bikeway, the off-road dedicated bike path in northern Rhode Island. They are identified below, with directions to access them by car.
